THE CONCERN WITH ALAWA

Writer's picture: Raen AlcazarRaen Alcazar

Alawa is one of the WCC's beloved Ambassador wolves. For the past two weeks, the Wolf Conservation Center, along with it's supporters have noticed some concerning signs with her; she has been limping and lethargic--and some possible bile has been spotted in the wolves' inclosure. Veterinarians have inspected Alawa's condition, and she is now on medication. Although, that doesn't prevent her supporters and advocates from being worried for her overall health. Zephyr--a beloved wolf was 11 when he passed away, which is Alawa's same age. But, videos and pictures show glimpses of activity with Alawa. We hope for the best!
