NEW HOUSE BILL COULD DELIST GRAY WOLVES

Writer's picture: Raen AlcazarRaen Alcazar

In the next few weeks, a new Congress bill could delist wolves; along with various of other species as well. The House FY 2024 Interior appropriations bill. H.R. 4821 contains multiple riders that could harm the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The Sec. 452 would reinforce the 2020 decision that removed gray wolves from the ESA. Although none of these riders have passed previously, it only takes a few to pass it into law.

Once people understand the true nature of wolves and their plight in the wild, that's one step closer to saving them.
