MONTANANS ARE GROWING MORE TOLERANT OF WOLVES.

Writer's picture: Raen AlcazarRaen Alcazar

Recent surveys have shown that Montanans are growing more tolerant of wolves according to the University of Montana’s Human Dimensions Lab and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. Data collected from Montana residents prove that over 74% of residents are "tolerant" of wolves, landowners are 86% tolerant, and 82% of elk hunters are tolerant of wolves.

Yet, with less than 1,087 gray wolves remaining in Montana (and with the hunting season ending in late March), many wolves will still be killed by those who are not tolerant of wolves. 209 wolves have already been killed in Montana, and in the states where they are not federally protected (Idaho and Wyoming). Wolves need urgent action! Tell Deb Haaland to relist wolves in the Northern Rockies!

Once people understand the true nature of wolves and their plight in the wild, that's one step closer to saving them.
