Alleno was a male Mexican grey wolf with Heterochromia. When he passed, he was 12 years old—a long and fulfilled life for the wolf. Over the course of his life, Alleno had a mate by the name of Rosa. He and Rosa had a litter of 9 pups—6 males and three females according to the Wolf Conservation Center.

Females: Bria, Helene, and Diane

The four of them will be the most sorrowful of all—and their father who assisted his wild kin in the SSP (Species Survival Plan) will watch over them from the Rainbow Bridge. As a father, he taught his children to be kind, tender, and tough and the webcam viewers were pleased with the kind tendencies of the pack.—says the WCC.

Alleno was also one of the more popular wolves at the WCC; as he basked in the warm sun with his daughters and his beloved mate.

A few of my art pieces also showcase the beautiful eyes and features of Alleno.

Thank you, Alleno for your permanent legacy in the future for Mexican grey wolves…I will never forget you.

R.I.P, Alleno

Once people understand the true nature of wolves and their plight in the wild, that's one step closer to saving them.
