COLORADO WOLF REINTRODUCTION IS LOOKING GOOD SO FAR

Writer's picture: Raen AlcazarRaen Alcazar

Colorado has been finding it hard to obtain wolves from states who decline to give wolves to Colorado. But some considerations have been made. While most of the Northern Rocky Mountain states refused to donate wolves, Oregon and Washington have been the primary sources for wolves that Colorado is looking at right now. Colorado is currently looking to reintroduce about 30 or 50 wolves each year into the state.

Another source that Colorado might indend to use by the end of this year is the Nez Perce Tribe. Although, discussions are still being made.

Once people understand the true nature of wolves and their plight in the wild, that's one step closer to saving them.
