A NEW BILL IS TO PASS FOR WOLF POPULATIONS IN WINSCONSIN

Writer's picture: Raen AlcazarRaen Alcazar

On Friday, March 10th, A pair of Republican legislators established a bill that would have Winsconsin residents obliged to follow along with the new wolf management plan. In 1999, the Department of Natural Resources reported the state's wolf population to be around 350 wolves--and now, it has been decided that the overall population should be 1,000 wolves. This law should be passed in September. The DNR doesn't specify the exact population that the wolves will be at, but it's required to let them grow.

Once people understand the true nature of wolves and their plight in the wild, that's one step closer to saving them.
